He posted a video on Snapchat of him and a buddy just casually walking the streets of NY. One of the street signs clearly says Greene Street. Another is in brown, but I can’t read it. The cars behind him are turning on two parallel streets, kind of like an S-shaped intersection. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Based on his other snaps, he seems to be going downtown, from Central Park to the Flatiron building, to what seems like Canal Street. Best thing is I’m heading down to Canal Street later anyway.

If I find him you shall get SR20.

Edit 1: He took the 1 train up to Houston. Any Opponauts around there?

Edit 2: He’s in an Uber or something around Chelsea. I don’t think I’m going to find him!

True, and, based off of what I’ve seen of him in the media, I think he’d actually receive fans in public settings pretty well. Especially in the U.S. where F1 isn’t a big deal, so it’s not like he’d be constantly getting mobbed by the common folk.

Yup, he just dressed pretty normally with a hat and sunglasses. Most people would never give a second glance. And it didn’t seem like there was security or anything.

There is a Maserati/Ferrari dealer one block from there if that’s helpful info at all. I have machines in a datacenter at 6th and Canal that I fly out and visit 4-5 times a year and I always marvel at the cars people will own and drive in Manhattan, especially in the wintertime. It’s heartbreaking and inspiring all at the same time.

There was a great paparazzi shot of an exchange between Lewis and some tourists in Australia last year. He was just out for a walk on his own and the tourists asked him for a picture. He thought they wanted a picture with him which he was fine with, but it was awkward for a moment because they had no idea who he was and just wanted him to take their picture which he did and walked away. I thought it was a really cool private moment that was entirely candid.
